parrott81 Oct 17, 2009 My daughter left her pumpkin outside final year and it rotted. Earlier this year around May we noticed a funny plant coming up in our yard. My fiance was leaving to mow it down, I told him no I wanted to watch what it did(we had forgotton about the punpkin). Well it started growing vines that is took over part of my backyard. We just let it go on its own, we never watered it or reduce back every of the vines, and we ended awake with a tiny over 100 tiny pumpkins that weighed about 1-2 pounds each. After we cut them fom the vines a few weeks ago my daughter had a pumpkin stand inside top of our house and sold all regarding them except for the 6 we kept ourselves.
